Born in Barsa Al-Koura in 1921 and arrived in Melbourne Australia 1961. Since his arrival he committed his efforts to help his community and continues to do so until today. He is blessed with a wonderful voice that he used in the church choir. He has been the president of the church association since 1963. A permanent member of the ALA and received its medal as an appreciation of his contribution. He founded the Barsa Charitable Association to help his compatriots in Lebanon. He helped the Sisters of the St Antoine Order achieve all of their plans, especially in their early days in Melbourne. He played a vital role in building Omar Ibn Khatab mosque. He assisted Father Boulous Khoury in aiding newly arrived migrants to settle. Respected by all Australia Lebanese community and loved by everyone. He adores poetry and recites a poem in almost every occasion. His contribution towards his community is enormous and known by all and his love to Australia is very much a part of his lovely personality.
