Joe Joseph was born in Australia in 1931, his parents migrated to Australia in 1921, he lost his wife Ave of Irish descent on Christmas Eve 1994 due to cancer. Joe is known as 'big Joe' and 'healing Joe' for he is a giant of a man yet with a bigger heart he has been described as a dictionary of mankind, humble, honest, gentle, kind and a healer. His patients included celebrities and footballers. Joe had his own trucking business, at one stage a fleet of 18 trucks, unfortunately he was bankrupt, he described that as fate, for he studied and obtained a Diploma in Remedial Therapy which led his healing hands to perform their magic.
He supported many charities in raising funds and despite his aches and pains he continue to do so, relying on his new ally the telephone. Currently he is a board member of Parramatta Leagues Club where he has been an official for the last 29 years, Parramatta NRL, Parramatta Advisory Board and a Board Member of AKLA ( Australian Kfarsghab Lebanese Association) . He had been a well known and respected personality throughout the community, media, rugby league players and celebrities.
