Born a twin to Tarik and Josephine on the 5ht July 1986,
Began training and competing in Tae Kwon Do in 1993,
2 years later he qualified for the Black Belt,
he competes in the 63-68 Kg Weight Division,
During his career he was,
36 times NSW State Champion,
10 times National Champion,
and 7 times Victorian State Champion.
He was awarded the following medals:
Silver medal at the Youth Olympics in Sydney,
Silver medal at the World Championships in Crete, Greece and this was the best result for an Australian Competitor,
and a Silver medal at the Asian Junior Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
He was awarded the Australian Lebanese Association Sportsman of the Year.
He was State Fighter for the year 2002 and 2003.
His Current Ranking is No 2 in the World.
He has been in the NSW State Training Squad for the past 3 years.
He has been in the Australian National Training Squad for the past Year.
He is 1of 4 males in the program for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
He is Australian Team Captain for the World Championships and Asian Games
He is trained by Hasan Iskandar, the vice president of the Tae Kwon Do Australia.

Each brother competes in different weight division and both Brothers dedicate their Olympic dream to their sister Claudia who passed away on the 2nd of April 2000 due to a tragic accident. Claudia herself was part of Australian National Tae Kwon Do squad and was training for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
